Facebook is Launching Messenger Kids
The issue of security and privacy of user data on the Internet has recently been discussing more and more often. Socia network developers are eager to protect the young generation from unwanted content, because it is difficult to track the spread of the latter. One shouldn’t also overlook the users that may harm the child. YouTube has already launched a similar platform for viewing video content and now it is joined by Facebook, whose experts have developed the program Messenger Kids.
The new platform is for users under 13 years. It has built-in parental control functions. Messenger Kids allows the child to communicate safely with family members and friends. At the same time, the kid will not be able to create a profile. The parents should be friends on Facebook with schoolmates or friends of their kid. Only under this condition, the child will be able to communicate through the program. The Messenger Kids is not tied to the phone number.
And, interestingly, the profiles of Messenger Kids and Facebook are not attached to each other, however parents, friends and family members can communicate with each other through their own version of the application. There are also no ads and built-in purchases in here. Messenger Kids has a video link function, stickers, masks and in general the whole set of functions for a modern means of communication. Now Messenger Kids is available only on iOS, and the release of the version for Android and Amazon Kindle is expected next year.
